Terms of Service
These terms form an agreement between you and Zhongman Zhisheng (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. ("LickMV", "we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the LickMV website, iOS app, and Android app, including the version distributed through Google Play (com.zmzs.lickmv) (together, the "Service"). Please read them carefully, especially the parts in bold. By registering, signing in, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Service Description
- The Service is a music-video (MV) creation tool. It offers AI song generation, lyric timeline recognition, storyboard and shot generation, image and video generation, subtitle editing, and final composition and export.
- The Service currently has no content community, no public publishing, and no user-to-user interaction features.
- We may adjust, add, or remove features for legal, technical, or operational reasons, and will notify you by reasonable means.
2. Accounts and Sign-in
- Creation features require sign-in. You may sign in with Google, WeChat, or an email verification code. Each Google account, WeChat account, and email address corresponds to a separate LickMV account.
- You must provide truthful, lawful, and valid information, and keep your account and your signed-in devices secure. You are responsible for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials or from disclosing them to others.
- You may sign out at any time in Settings.
- Account deletion: you may request deletion under Settings → Account and security → Delete account. After you submit the request we revoke your sign-in credentials and delete or de-identify your account data within 15 business days. Deletion cannot be undone. Your projects and any unused credits are forfeited, with no refund and no cash compensation. Please export anything you want to keep before requesting deletion.
3. Credits
Credits are in-app virtual items used to redeem generation capabilities. Credits are not prepaid funds, carry no monetary value, and cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or exchanged for cash or other property.
3.1 Obtaining credits
- On Google Play, credits are purchased through Google Play Billing. Purchases are one-time top-ups. They are not subscriptions and do not auto-renew, so you will not be charged again without your knowledge.
- The available packages, prices, and credit amounts shown on the purchase screen at the time of purchase apply. We may change prices or run promotions from time to time; changes do not apply retroactively to purchases you have already completed.
- We may grant credits to new users or during specific promotions. Rules for granted credits are stated on the relevant promotion page.
3.2 Spending credits
- Generating songs, images, videos, and covers consumes credits per use or per unit. The amount is shown clearly before you confirm the operation.
- Failed generations are not charged. If credits were deducted for a system-side failure, they are returned to your account automatically and the return is visible in your credit history.
- Credits do not expire and remain valid for the life of your account.
- You can review all credit activity under Settings → Credit history.
3.3 Refunds
- Credits are digital goods delivered immediately. Once a purchase completes and credits are added to your account, the purchase is not refundable, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
- Purchases made through Google Play are also governed by Google Play's payment and refund policies. Refund requests for Google Play purchases are handled through Google Play.
- If credits do not arrive, you are charged twice, or an amount is incorrect, contact us promptly using the details below. We will investigate and resolve the issue as required by law.
- Statutory withdrawal rights. If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants a right of withdrawal for digital content (for example, the 14-day right in the European Union and the United Kingdom), that right applies. By starting a purchase you request immediate delivery of the credits and acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost once delivery has begun, to the extent permitted by the applicable law.
4. AI-Generated Content
- Songs, images, and videos in the Service are generated or synthesized by artificial intelligence. Output may be inaccurate, may not match reality, and may not match your expectations. Generation is probabilistic: the same input is not guaranteed to produce the same output.
- You may not use the Service to generate, download, or distribute content that breaks the law, harms public interests, infringes another person's likeness, reputation, privacy, copyright, or other lawful rights, or that contains sexually explicit, violent, extremist, gambling, fraudulent, discriminatory, or hateful material.
- Content you submit and content the Service generates are subject to safety review. We may refuse, block, or remove content we reasonably believe to be unlawful, and may suspend or terminate the Service to you depending on severity.
- Provided you comply with these terms and applicable law, we do not claim copyright in the finished videos you generate. You are responsible for ensuring your use of generated content (including commercial use) complies with the laws that apply to you, and you bear the resulting responsibility.
- You must ensure that audio, images, text, and other materials you upload are your own or that you have sufficient rights to use them. You bear any dispute or loss arising from defects in those rights.
5. Acceptable Use
- You may not use the Service for unlawful activity, including infringement, defamation, fraud, or malicious attacks.
- You may not interfere with or disrupt normal operation of the Service, including by bypassing the billing mechanism, registering accounts in bulk, using automated scripts or crawlers, or reverse engineering the Service.
- You may not resell or rent the Service or the credits in your account.
6. Minors
The Service is intended primarily for adults. Minors should use the Service with the involvement and guidance of a parent or guardian, and may make purchases only with that person's consent. If a guardian discovers a purchase made by a minor without consent, please contact us using the details below and we will investigate and handle it as required by law.
7. Intellectual Property
- The software, interfaces, code, documentation, trademarks, and related materials of the Service are owned by us or by the respective rights holders.
- Without written permission, no one may copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially redistribute them.
8. Disclaimer
- To the extent permitted by law, we make reasonable efforts to keep the Service stable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
- Final videos are composed on your device. The result is affected by device performance, available storage, and operating-system version.
- For losses caused by force majeure, third-party service outages, or network failures, we bear responsibility to the extent required by law.
9. Changes, Suspension, and Termination
We may upgrade, maintain, suspend, or terminate the Service for compliance, technical, security, or operational reasons. Where a change is material, we will give reasonable advance notice. If we terminate the Service entirely, we will propose a reasonable arrangement for unused credits in your account.
10. Updates to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Updates are published on this page with a new version number and date. Where an update materially changes your rights or obligations, we will highlight it prominently. Continuing to use the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
11. Distribution Through Google Play
- If you obtained the app through Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the Service.
- Google Play processes your payment. We do not receive or store your full card number or your Google account payment credentials.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes arising from these terms or the Service should first be resolved through negotiation; if negotiation fails, either party may bring a claim before a competent court at our place of domicile. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence, or of the right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country where the applicable law grants you that right.
